Vision Journal

I am extremely proud and excited to share my latest work, a Vision Journal. The project started as a journal for a small group of friends and family for a Vision Board Party, and was such a hit the decision was made to share it with a much larger audience.  The Vision Journal can be used as a companion to a vision board or the designated creative space in the journal can be used as your actual vision board.  Pictures, motivational words and phrases can be posted on the designated 'Creative Space' pages.

The journal includes 52 journal pages, accompanied by 52 creative space pages. There is also a creative space section at the back of the journal.  Each page contains positive 'I AM' affirmations, as a powerful reminder of who we are.

Rhythms in Me

Rhythms in Me is a book filled with poems that span over 20 years.  This is my first poetry book, there is no one specific theme, I included it all.  I named the book Rhythms in Me because I believe that the stories we tell, and the way that we tell them all have a certain rhythm.  These poems are my rhythms.  I write what I feel, and I write it the way that I hear it, and more so the way that I feel it flow.

Breaths of Life

Breaths of Life was written to inspire, to motivate, to help, and to heal. As I went through many challenges in my life, it was the words that I spoke to myself, the words that I heard in meditation, and the words that I heard in prayer deep down on the inside of me, that helped me get through those times. Those are the words that this book stems from.

The book is filled with powerful messages, affirmations,
space to reflect, and pictures of serene spaces to enhance reflection.

 A Little About Me

I am a Detroit, MI native, with a passion and a little bit of an obsession for the ocean and warm weather. The ocean is where I experience the greatest feeling of freedom, which is great for creative spirits like me. A few of my greatest loves and contributors to what I do are positive vibes, great music, great wine, amazing friends, and family.

I love to create and there is great satisfaction in knowing that the words that I wrote made a difference in someone's life. Over the years I have enjoyed writing, editing, designing flyers, invitations, and program covers, and took part in other creative projects. I published my first poem in 1996, my first book in 2015, my second book in 2016, and just this year, 2020, a vision journal. While writing has not been my career path, it is something that I wholeheartedly enjoy and have started to focus on more over the past few years.

My goal is to motivate, inspire, and to make people feel. My experiences, the things that moved me throughout my life are what I pour onto the pages that I write. My style is my style and I write and create by my own rules, with no apologies.
